BFC Welcomes Associate Attorney Jennifer McCave

BFC is pleased to welcome attorney Jennifer McCave to the law firm. Jen graduated in 1998 from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Engineering degree, with High Honors, in Chemical Engineering. She then attended Vermont Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2009 and serving as the Notes Editor and Production Coordinator for the Vermont Law Review. Jen then went on to earn her LLM in Environmental Law, Cum Laude, in 2010 from Vermont Law School.

Jen’s main areas of practice are complex civil litigation, commercial disputes, employment law, environmental and land use law, consumer fraud and insurance coverage disputes. Before joining our firm, she litigated complex matters for seven years with law firms in New York and Vermont, and as a staff attorney with Riverkeeper, an environmental non-profit organization in the Hudson Valley. Jen is admitted to practice in New York, Vermont, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York, Northern District of New York, and District of Vermont, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Prior to attending law school, Jen worked as an information technology consultant from 1998 through 2006 for various large companies and the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
