Aleksandra Tasic joined BFC in 2019 and works closely with clients on transactional and litigation matters. Aleks has substantial legal experience with public and local government law through her prior representation of private and public entities, her previous service on the Borough of Haledon Planning/Zoning Board, and her current role as a Councilwoman on the Borough Council. 

Aleks has significant experience in land use law, commercial and residential real estate transactions, litigation, and drafting resolutions, ordinances, contracts, and other legal documents for public entities, and diverse businesses and individuals in the private sector.  Aleks now brings her strong background and experience to counseling BFC’s diverse clientele, including condominium associations, cooperatives, and homeowners associations throughout New Jersey on a host of legal matters, from the interpretation of governing documents and the preparation of complex contracts, to advising Boards on corporate governance issues and dealing with municipalities on issues such as negotiating monetary reimbursements under the Municipal Services Act. 

Aleks is a 2007 summa cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Philosophy.  Aleks continued her studies at Seton Hall University School of Law where she  earned her Juris Doctorate.    Aleks continues to volunteer her time to Seton Hall as a mentor at WSOU, the University’s “Pirate Radio”, where she served as a producer, newscaster, DJ, and Manager during her undergraduate tenure.
