Mary Ellen Liberatore joined BFC in 2022. Her practice is focused on representing community associations throughout New Jersey as well as parties in residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Mary Ellen is a skilled negotiator and an experienced contract drafter. Her practice is built on strong client relationships, providing knowledgeable and realistic advise, and an acute attention to detail.

Prior to practicing community association and real estate law, Mary Ellen worked as a matrimonial and family law attorney in Manhattan. She successfully negotiated numerous settlement agreements in complex and highly contentious matters. Mary Ellen was repeatedly recognized by her peers in Super Lawyers magazine as a “Rising Star” in the New York Metro area.**

Mary Ellen graduated cum laude from Georgetown University and went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Cardozo School of Law where she was elected the Managing Editor of the Cardozo Public Policy & Ethics Journal.

Mary Ellen lives in Ridgewood, NJ with her husband, two children, and their lovable dog, Maisie.
